I am particularly interested in the history of the town of Musselburgh, east of Edinburgh, and of the surrounding parish of Inveresk in the period 1600-1850. I am also interested in the neighbouring Midlothian parishes of Duddingston and Liberton. I would very much welcome any information you may be able to provide on any of the following topics:

  Brunstane Mill lies between Easter Duddingston and Musselburgh

  Niddrie in Liberton parish, circa 1650 to 1750
